When I first started working with rocks it was just with Montana Agates about 5yrs ago. I started cutting and polishing Montana Agates just as a fun pass time with my kids on the weekends for fun. We would go out on our boat down the Yellowstone River in our hometown of Glendive, Montana on the weekends rockhounding. Then I got together with my other half, she was into all kinds of gems and minerals and was eager to go on the hunt for them herself. We started dabbling in everything, from going out searching for different minerals to collecting specimens. Before we knew it things grew into so much more! One might call it Hobby Gone Wild LOL! We are constantly doing research to learn more every day about the rocks, gems, and minerals that we bring to you. In hopes to give the best quality for your personal collections and for you and your loved ones to enjoy. We have so much fun with our family and friends going out on the Yellowstone River to get our Montana Agates to bring them home to our shop and do the lapidary work with time and patience. We enjoy acquiring crystals from around the world helping other small businesses and miners. Although Montana maybe the "Treasure State" we don't have all the wonders our plant has to offer.
